Remixed Pleasures

Remixed Pleasures was created by redrawing the lines of the original 80-period pulsar graphic created in 1970 by Harold D. Craft, Jr., of Arecibo Radio Observatory for his PhD dissertation.

It was first published in the US without a copyright in the year 1971, so therefore it is in the public domain for failure to comply with copyright formalities of that time.

The pulsar lines were also used in 1979 on the cover of Unknown Pleasures, the debut studio album by English band Joy Division.
